Hello Friends!!!!!!
Just an update, as I am now in Brockville house-sitting. I arrived about 10 minutes late to the station, but pretty much had smooth sailing, or rather railing, all the way here. Of course we were delayed to due CN Rail fixing the track. Though I'd rather show up a few minutes late, than run on old track. My Mother even greeted me with a Tim Horton's coffee in hand. That really made my day!!!
Jogging in the mornings here is nice. The neighbors all wave and say hello, not like Hamilton at all. Most people in my city pretend they don't even see you. This is good ole country living though. People are much more pleasant.
The only thing I'm mildly upset about is the Leaf game last night. Huge Hockey chick here, and not only did I miss it, but the rookies lost it!!!! Yes, rookies! That's all that played.... the usual players are too good for pre-season games... anyways, lost! What a way to show the world they don't suck anymore. HA! It shows me we'll be saying, "maybe next year." Go for 44!! I know some of you are thinking, c'mon Freda it's early, it's only one pre-season game... but I know. You mark my words!
