2nd comment, not sure if the first went through! A beautiful capture of water and boats with a perfect storm about to roll in. I long for these days again!
I love the mood of this shot, Freda. I can feel the dampness of being down by the water's edge on a gloomy, threatening day - I remember what this felt like when I was a kid and we'd head down to the docks with my uncle in Long Island. You've captured that spirit perfectly here.
I love the little punctuations of color from each boat. It's almost like a small slice of defiance in the wake of overwhelming weather.
Water and the sky, ideal settings for this week's theme. Love photos of Yacht clubs. I can dream can't i?
ReplyDeleteStunning capture, of my kind of day, even with a storm rolling in. The water scene and boats paint a welcome picture, even if you don't own a boat.

ReplyDeleteThe storm clouds generate a great contrast with the boats.
ReplyDeleteCould be a good day for boating, despite the greyness. As long as the storm isn't bad.
