Seems like a ladder in the snow ought to be really symbolic.

The ladder is on the ground, where it is safely parked lest some man climb up on it otherwise. The snowy shadow is left from this device of utility, and on the fresh snow ist is beautiful...

Shadow on snow is very nice but I bet that most of you in the cold climates are longing for shadows on grass.
