Ellipsis Monday Photo Shoot: Gateways

ELLIPSIS

I went this past weekend to Gage Park in a snowstorm to get some photos. There is a lot of arches and arbors outside the Greenhouse in the park. It started to snow really hard, but I caught this shot and gasped at its beauty. I also saw many gateways in the arches and saw it fitting for this theme. (The first photo has the greenhouse in back, not as nice a shot.)

A beautiful sight in each photo! The arches seem to guide a pathway through the snow!

I really like the austere quality of the first shot. Yes, it would be nicer without the greenhouse, but it's still a great shot.

It's a beautiful sight, especially with the snow.

I like the stark black of the arch in the first shot. The greenhouse is not bad but it would be better without it. Unfortunately we can't move buildings and wires out of our shots, something I would like to do sometimes.
