How lovey! I wish I knew what this lovely bird was thinking. I wish I could make life warmer and more comfortable.
I always feel sad for them when winter approaches. Your picture captures that sense of starkness and approaching snow.

great catch, sometimes these birdies are hard to see
that little guy is cold.. i learned that when they are puffed up like that they're trying to warm themselves up...those branches make a great frame
