Round Robin Challenge: Almost A Photo

For more: http://roundrobinphoto.blogspot.com

Squirrel through a fence. great idea, bad execution! (For you Judy!)

Believe it or not, that green splot is the cutest little bud. Screwed up the shot though.

A bad lily view. So not what I was going for.

Some pipes. Not sure what I was thinking... but snap!

The hospital helicopter almost got past me.... couldn't reach my camera fast enough.

Almost a good one, but I can see some beauty in it, and with some caption, the photo works, example the last one. Too fast for your camera!

I love the little squirrel, he is a cutie. Thank you!

This is a great theme, a perfect use for all of those almost photos we all have. I have a lot that would fit into this category.

But the squirrel is still cute and the lily is beautiful. Photos don't have to be perfect to be enjoyable.

Hah, love the squirrel. Those suckers are hard to catch at the best of times.

Hi Freda :)

Tee Hee... love the squirrel. Gosh they scamper so much, they make really difficult subjects. There is not much reasoning with a squirrel!

Looks like the squirrel is stealing all the attention in this post! =) Your entry was fun to check out. =)

It's pretty hard to take a photo of something through a fence. The camera wants to focus on the fence instead of what's beyond it. I've found that out the hard way in recent weeks while trying to take photos of my grandson playing Little League baseball.

Same problem in the second photo. The camera wanting to focus on one thing and you wanting to focus on something else. Needs a smaller aperture to get a bigger depth of field.

The third photo would look quite good with a little post-processing (even using a simple program like Picasa) to adjust the tuning.

Fences can be a real problem, can't they? The camera wants to focus on the fence instead of what's behind it! The bud photo is very pretty, because the background is so interesting and the blurry bud makes for a nice contrast. And the lily looks almost like a face, some kind of, I don;t know, intelligent alien plant or something. Well, okay, maybe not, but I like it!
