I enjoy watching these formations. What is hard to comprehend is how which of the flock is tasked with leading the formation of geese. Perhaps they return to the Great White North, their ancestral grounds. They leave an elegance as they travel through the sky...
I love how they fly in a V formation. We see lots of them here in central Arkansas, US but I have never been able to get good clear shots. They are beautiful and the good thing is that you can hear them coming from far away so you can get prepared!
