Tree on tree, with only one tree.

The modern building leaves a shadow that is of its time: angular and stark. The bare tree, on the other hand, is curvaceous and organic, with a natural look. It seems as if there is a dispute, organic vs. man-made. Wher both sides win, as the total look is beautiful!

What a great, wintery shadow shot! We may get tired of winter, but there is beauty in the bare trees -- and they do make wonderful shadows!! Hope you have a great weekend and a Happy Valentine's Day!

Very nice composition. Nature and geometric shapes combine beautifully in this shot.

That's a fun shot, Freda. We haven't had a lot of sunshine lately, have we? I like the shadow on the pattern of the building.

One naked tree is more than no tree at all! :)
Happy SSS from Cairo!

Wow the tree shadow looks like a rusty leaf print. Very good!

Bare trees do indeed leave cool shadows for us to capture.

I also like the softness of nature contrasted with the hard lines of the modern structure.

Happy shadow seeking this week!
