This bird was nesting in the corner of my home, before renovations. As you can see, she had for for her young, which sadly all perished from falling out of the nest. I'm too soft to watch baby birds die. Anyhow, not the best photo, but a memory for me I won't soon forget.

Somber indeed..and well, unfortunate but natures' way...I found a dead bird on my stair once and it scared the livin' daylites out of me....
BUT on that note....Happy New Year...
onto to better things.
