Making Sauce

I was making sauce for ravioli tonight, and decided to share it with all of you. I've had lots of people ask me how to make it, now you will know. Firstly you will need: garlic, onion, lamb/beef brisket, tomato paste, and a jar of tomatoes with basil, (preferably fresh and jarred preserve, but can use store bought.)

Step 1:

Using a medium saucepan, put some oil in, and add brisket. Cook for a few minutes until it gets color. Then remove from pan, but keep drippings to use. Medium heat.

Step 2:
Using same pot, throw in cut up onion, and cut up garlic. I use about 3-4 cloves cut in chunks not minced. Add in some salt, pepper, and Italian Seasoning for flavor. Cook until it has color, maybe 3-5 minutes.

Step 3:
Add jar of tomato sauce, preserve or store bought. Add briskets back into pot, and stir. Turn heat up and bring to a early boil. Then when it starts boiling and bubbling, turn it down to low. Let simmer, stirring every half hour or so, for minimum an hour.

Step 4:
Add entire can of tomato paste. Give a good stir, and let simmer for another hour or so, stirring every half hour. When cooked for at least a couple hours, you will not only smell it but be starved by now.

Step 5:

Drain pasta. Add sauce. Put in bowl, and sprinkle with stinky Parmesean Cheese. Yummy!! Add a good Merlot, and you're set!!

Hope you enjoy, and ask away if you need more tips. Happy eating!!
