Post a picture of Elvis, and got and Eddie Rabbitt tune stuck in my brain.... Drive My Life Away.Well the midnight headlight find you on a rainy night
steep grade up ahead slow me down makin no time
gotta keep rollin
those windshield wipers slappin out a tempo
keepin perfect rhythm with the song on the radio
gotta keep rolling
Ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a better way, for me
ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a sunny day
Well the truck stop cutie comin' on to me
tried to talk me into a ride said I wouldn't be sorry
but she was just a baby
Hey waitress pour me another cup of coffee
pop me down jack me up shoot me out flyin' down the highway
lookin for the morning
Ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a better way, for me
ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a sunny day
Well the midnight headlight find you on a rainy night
steep grade up ahead slow me down makin no time
gotta keep rollin
those windshield wipers slappin out a tempo
keepin perfect rhythm with the song on the radio
gotta keep rolling
Ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a better way, for me
ooh I'm driving my life away, looking for a sunny day
What awesome lyrics!!! Guess that's how I feel today. Looking for a sunny day. Right now there is a huge gathering of police cars, firetrucks, and other "officials" down the street from me. By the looks of the masks they're putting on when getting out of the car, I assume it's bad. And possibly something you don't want to breathe in, so I was forced to close my windows. I do enjoy fresh air, though untainted. Some of my neighbors have wandered off to get a better look, one even went prepared with a mask on. She must have watched from her window, and saw the police putting full face masks on. I thought it was the perfect time to get out of the window, and let them do their job. Going to take a better look, only gets in their way. It will be on the news, if I see fit to get entertained from another persons misfortunes in life. Which I admit, curiosity will most likely get the best of me.
