Today is a beautiful day in my neighborhood, the sun is shining, and the kids must all be sleeping still, knowing school is back tomorrow. It's incredibly quiet out there this morning. Usually the kids in my neighborhood are the first thing I hear every day. They play on the street outside my home, and I wake to their giggles. Which most days I love to hear. Today that pre-school monotony sets in. It's awfully quiet, and feels like the whole neighborhood disappeared. Left for one day only. Ah well, I guess as they say, "enjoy the peace while it lasts." Tomorrow it will be gone.
