Happy Saturday!!!
Let's be real folks... if I put an x on a spot above, it would've been; I'm wearing a duck! I'm really not, but it would've been funny if I were.
My papa, who's been gone a while, called us grandkids, either chicken or duck. So just the word brings all these wonderful memories with it. Like spending the Summer vacations with him, camping either at a campground, or even the yard made a great spot! As a kid, you can create adventure wherever you are. Or at least I did. I even remember the 80's, when Madonna and Boy George were all the rage. I used to sing those songs to my Papa, and he would teach me old war tunes. Wish I knew them now though.
I guess I am feeling nostalgic, as today is my dad Peter's birthday. Not quite sure how old he is... we're a little estranged. Well, I talk to my step-mom Lynne more than him.....
