Sunday's are a day of rest, right? Then why don't I ever sleep??? :-) I guess as they say, I'll sleep when I'm dead. I am tired today though. I'm not sure if its my over-active thyroid, or just stress, but man, I'm bagged today!
The photos above I took last week at my sisters house. I was there for my nephews 18th birthday so I took my camera along. She has this big bush in the backyard that is always hovering with bees. So I saw it as my duty, to disturb them long enough to catch a few really cool photos. The first he is in there taking his pollen. The second he's on his way out. And the last is what the flower looked like when he stripped it bare. Beautiful, no?!
I'm typing away, and got the news on in the background.... trying to keep tabs on Hurricane Bill. I still have too many people that I love and worry about living in the Maritimes, specifically Nova Scotia. A lot of my school friends are still there. Mind you it was lessened to a category 2 yesterday, so it seems its diminishing. If you look through the Nasa website at photos or satellite images of Bill, you'd never know it's getting smaller at all. Worry is worry anyways, and no matter what, as long as people I love are there, I'll worry. We won't even discuss the friends I have in Afghanistan at the moment. Another stress for another day.
Well, kiddies, I'm making it a point to finish my book I'm reading today too. I only have about 10 pages left of Julie & Julia by Julie Powell. I want to see the movie but not before reading and reviewing the book. So check my book review blog later for my take on the book. Then you'll know whether it's even worth it to see the film.
