TGIF!!! I came on last night before bed, long enough to tell of our Hamilton Tornado Watch experience of yesterday. I said I would post photos, so I have them all here. From the top I will explain them. The first photo was the clouds yesterday. Looking very peaceful and beautiful. I guess the calm before the storm as they say. The second photo was yesterdays clouds, right before it got dark and gloomy. I have to admit right away, I did not feel like taking those photos. I'm not into gloom much. The third photo is a rainbow that emerged outside of my home, directly after the 20 minute absolute downpour. It was a wicked rain, lots of boomers and lightening. Someone even lost their life in Durham, Ontario due to the funnel clouds. They showed one house completely destroyed. To us Canadians it is not what we see, so it takes some getting used to. Back on topic; The last photo is the other side of the arc. Unfortunately the arc was full. However my view was not so great. It was obstructed enough I could only get photos of each side. I'm okay with that though. I just had a crazy thought.... I wonder if the Steven Spielberg movie they're filming here was using any of the storm footage for the alien film?! It'd be cool if they did. Anyways, that is my wacked out day yesterday. I wonder what will happen today?!
