Concretely

When I looked up the term, "concretely", it had more meanings than just the concrete on the ground. One reference was to how strong a tree is and how it stands concretely through it all. I was instantly reminded to last week when the storms came. It was when Oklahoma was hit by the tornadoes. Well, we had no tornadoes in Southern Ontario that day, but the winds were scary and ferocious. I thought this tree pictured would uproot itself and fly away at one point. Thankfully it didn't, that would be terrifying!!!

Anyways, you get the idea......

That's an interpretation of concretely that I would never have thought of.

Always surprising just how tough trees can be - concretely as you so rightly say!

Such a great, creative post!

I can't imagine experiencing a tornado with trees flying everywhere.

Thanks for the mental jog. We tend to get one definition that we always use.

You never fail to make me think differently about the world around me, Mike. You've done it again. Next time the winds whip up, don't be surprised if your ears start to burn a little.

Fingers crossed the weather holds for you this weekend.
