Thematic Photographic: Bricks and Mortar

WRITTEN INC

No, I do not live in England.
I live in a city in Canada, and this is a classic view of what you see whenever you're walking and happen to look up. A gray sky and some Victorian architecture.

I bet those attic rooms were for the maids! And a bit chilly up there, too! I like the photo - you must have lots more interesting buildings around!

We should look up more often as we miss so much.

It makes my neck ache to look up so much. I'll bet the ceilings sloped in those attic rooms just like in my bedroom when I was a boy.

haha, gray sky. ;) I'm Canadian too, but live elsewhere. I miss all the red brick homes that filled the Ottawa Valley villages and farms.

Nice photo, I like the symmetry in the building and the contrast between the red brick and gray sky.

...and the grey sky appears even magical (to me) as a background to such an awesome buiding....what can be seen of it....
