The seeds had begotten buds, then flowers, and now, finally fruit! The year began cold and we had not considered the arrival of the fruit. But now, we can finally see it! Our potted tomatoes and peppers are green like the figs now - the fresh treats are growing nicely and will be quite ripe soon!

I knew it...I knew they were figs. A favorite of mine. Oh so yummy. As is your photo.
STILT WALKER?
Have a happy Sunday.
mmmmm...figs! Oh how we wish we could grow fig trees here! Great shadows!
Love figs! How long before they are ready to harvest?
Mmmm...figs! Been ages since I've had any. I like them with a little milk and sugar.
I had fresh figs from a street vendor in Mexico recently--and paid a high price (and I'm not talking about pesos!).
I’M YOUR SHADOW
Hello, there, I’m your shadow,
I tag after you;
Whatever you are doing,
That is what I do.
If you should fling a football
Forty yards or more,
I’ll be right beside you,
Evening the score.
If you should flick a booger
From your stuffy nose,
I will surely do the same—
Watch how far it goes!
So, friend, be very careful
What you say and do—
Whatever you are doing,
I’ll do just as you!

Yum. Yum. We used to have a giant fig tree in Phoenix. Love the ShadowShot. Happy SSS.
