The shadows of tree and brush fall over the marshy river lands. Despite the large power transmission lines nearby, the place remains calm and peaceful. I think that maybe i am hearing the quack of a duck in the water...

That looks like a perfect habitat for red-wing blackbirds.

TALKING SHADOWS?

Imagine a shadow could talk
In whisper or rumble or squawk;
Just what would it say
To make you go, “Hey!
You’re just a chip off the old block!”?

Great Shadow Shot. The scene is very pretty with the trees shadows and the reflections in the water. Nice!

Wow....I could pull up a lawn chair and sit for hours with a view like this. Beautiful.

My shadow this week is of a horn cleat [what you use to tie up a boat at the dock]

Hope your weekend has treated you well.
