The flower seems almost as if it is a hand, the ‘fingers’ looking as if they were opening up as if to offer the surprise in its palm. Neat, flowers and shadows allow our imaginations to work overtime seeing all the things our minds may come up with…

The flower bud makes a surprisingly strong shadow.

SHADOW DANCE

Shadows here and shadows there,
Shadows, shadows everywhere!
Shadows left and shadows right;
Shadows dancing through the night!
Shadows crouching on the wall;
Shadows spring and shadows fall
On the unsuspecting guest,
Who thought shadows offered rest!

What is this flower anyway? Is it still in bud or is that the actual flower? Very interesting. Happy SSS.

Neat shadow but I'm trying to figure out what kind of flower it is. :)

What a cute little flower! Like the others, I have no idea what type it is either :)

The leaves look like a hoya of some kind, but the blossom isn't at all close to a hoya. I love the wine colored flower bud. And the shadow is strong!! Well done.

Wonderful choice for SSS. Simple shadows and a stunning floral centerpiece.

I agree with Ralph - the first thing I saw was a "hand" when I looked at this. Fascinating!
