ABC Wednesday: Y Is For Young


ABC WEDNESDAY ROUND 8



I know, I know... you're looking at this photo thinking... "Young, where's the young? That things old as heck!"
But seriously folks...
This snapping turtle was digging to lay eggs. That's where the young comes in.
This isn't an event that occurs so often in my parts, so I took what I could from it. Photos.

Great catch! I saw lots of places where eggs were laid in June but never captured the mama doing it. :)
