The shine of the floor gives the shadow extra, interesting dimension! Lovely photo!
The floor has a sheen that reflects all, and nicely too! I am unsure if the furniture accents the grain in the wood or if the ottoman makes the floor look better. That is a dilemma of what makes something look better...
